For more than a dozen years, Angelyne of Los Angeles has been showcased on billboards around the city. She has a fan club and will appear at celebrity photoshoots for $8,228 (US) a day. Residents are puzzled by what the woman with the belief-defying cleavage, platinum hair and kissy pout actually does for a living. "It's over 10 years of being famous and I still haven't come up with an answer," she told The New York Times. "How about this one: 'I don't do, I am.'"
